March is Nutrition Month

March is Nutrition Month and each year Dietitians of Canada selects a theme based on a scan of the environment and input from their members. The theme of Nutrition Month for March 2020 is “More Than Food.” Health professionals want us to think about healthy eating as not only what we eat, but how we eat.

Topics that are being emphasized in the “More Than Food” campaign are mindful eating and taking the time to cook and eat with others.
