Supporting Student Connection

DASH’s popular Healthy at School and Home resource collection is back. This past year the COVID-19 pandemic has created new challenges for schools and students. One challenge has been finding ways to stay socially connected while following public health guidelines for physical distancing. Therefore, for the month of January DASH featured school and classroom activity ideas focused on connection. From secret buddies to a joy booth, these activities can be used to build students’ social skills while promoting positive mental health. All of the Healthy at School and Home resources are easy-to-use and connected to the British Columbia Physical and Health Education Curriculum. You can access the entire Healthy at School and Home collection at www.dashbc.ca/resources/healthy-at-home/.
