Jason G.W. Smith
Jason is a practicing lawyer who represents clients in the health and education sectors, including public health authorities and school districts. He brings broad experience in the fields of policy, negotiation, human rights, and risk management. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Jason was a community organizer and the director of a pro-bono advocacy organization in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Jason holds a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from the University of British Columbia and a Juris Doctor degree from the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. He joined the DASH BC Board of Directors in September 2019.
