Kate is an associate lawyer in the Litigation Group at McCarthy Tetrault in Vancouver.  She practices commercial litigation, with a focus on complex contractual, real estate, and financial services disputes. She also provides advice on municipal and retail markets matters.

Kate holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia. Following law school, Kate completed a clerkship at the British Columbia Supreme Court, and subsequently joined her current firm as an articling student and then associate. While earning her J.D. and subsequently during her legal practice, Kate been involved in pro bono and other volunteer endeavors.  She has also been a member of her high school alumnae executive association.

As a mother of two young boys, Kate understands the importance of  healthy school communities. She shares DASH’s vision for fostering healthy environments for children in British Columbia to learn and grow.
