DASH is made up of a group of dedicated professional staff members. Our team includes individuals from diverse backgrounds- ranging from Health and Nutritional Science, Public Health, Business, and Education. We are all passionate about the work that we do at DASH. 



Faye Willick, B.Ed, MBA
Executive Director

Faye has a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans various sectors including education, health, and business. Faye has a Bachelor’s of Education degree along with a Master’s in Business Administration. The trajectory of her career path has taken her from a secondary school physical education teacher focusing on lifelong health and well-being, to a college instructor, onto management and administrative roles, consultant, and finally business owner. Through these various roles, Faye has gained extensive experience in program planning, design and implementation, strategic planning, policy development, financial management, human resource management, and Board governance.

Haley Barton, LLM, MSc.
Community and School Health Promotion

After completing her Masters of Laws from Cambridge University, Haley practiced as a public law and policy lawyer in England for a number of years before moving back to Canada. She went from a career she liked to one she loved when she completed her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition and worked as a health promotor and advocate. Haley is now the Community and School Health Promotion Strategist at DASH BC. Haley is passionate about working to improve the health outcomes of all BC students.

Kim Weatherby
Well-being Lead

Kim has worked in school health promotion for more than 15 years, with roles at the local, provincial and national level in non-profits and government. Mental health promotion has been Kim’s passion for nearly ten years, and she has led mental health work/initiatives at the BC Ministry of Education and DASH BC. Kim’s health promotion expertise is complemented by project management and other skills acquired during 20 years in the corporate financial services and technology sectors.

Caroline Donelle
Business Development Lead

Caroline’s career focus has largely been based in the non-profit and public sectors, notably health, health research and academia in a variety of management and development roles in Montréal, Toronto and Victoria where she honed her skills at managing and navigating complex health and government systems. Caroline is committed to positively impacting the lives of others through active health promotion and education. With extensive experience in management, business development, communications and public relations, she brings her proven talents to the position of Business Development Lead at DASH.

Rachel Iacoe
Comprehensive School Health Facilitator, Vancouver Island

Rachel holds a BA (Hons) with a specialization in Nutrition and Families from Western University and a Master’s of Science in Health Promotion from Queen’s University. Rachel is passionate about school health and community collaboration. She wrote her Master’s thesis on the topic of food literacy in schools and contributed to the body of research aiming to improve the physical health and well-being of the youth population. At DASH, Rachel works as a Comprehensive School Health Facilitator for Vancouver Island.

Kaitlyn Bailey
Comprehensive School Health Facilitator, Northern BC

Kaitlyn studied Kinesiology at Queen’s University where she discovered her passion for research. After graduation she moved to BC to complete a Master’s degree in exercise psychology at UBC. Kaitlyn believes that health is an integral component of education, and that youth is an ideal time to learn how to develop healthy behaviours. Kaitlyn is the Comprehensive School Health Facilitator for northern BC.
